Draft notice

This is a starter privacy policy based on the current DrStudy development features. It must be reviewed, completed with real business contact information, and checked by a qualified legal professional before public launch.

This policy explains the types of information DrStudy may process, why that information is used, and the choices available to users. DrStudy is a study-support platform and is not intended to store patient medical records or provide healthcare services.

  • Study files that you choose to upload to your Library.
  • AI Tutor prompts, generated responses, quizzes, flashcards, and other study activity.
  • Notification preferences such as reminder status, reminder time, and timezone.

Service providers

  • DrStudy currently relies on third-party services for authentication, database storage, file storage, AI processing, hosting, and email delivery.
  • Those providers process information according to their own terms and privacy practices.
  • Before public launch, this section should name every production provider actually used by DrStudy.

Data choices and deletion

  • You can delete Library documents and clear locally saved AI Tutor conversation history from available controls.
  • You can turn study reminders and other optional notifications on or off.
  • A complete account-deletion request process should be added before public launch.

Security

  • DrStudy uses authenticated accounts and database access rules to restrict user data.
  • No online service can guarantee absolute security.
  • Do not upload patient records, protected health information, confidential clinical data, or other information you are not authorized to share.
